"I didn't start my journey with My Cosmetic Doctor until my 60s. I had always been curious about aesthetic treatments but felt quite nervous about taking that first step. I worried about looking done and being changed into someone I didn't recognise.

My journey started with a course of Profhilo, and this laid the foundation for what came later. My first chemical peel shortly afterwards made an astounding difference to my skin tone and texture. Dermal fillers lifted and added contour to my cheeks, reduced the deep lines on the lower parts of my face, and refreshed my lips. The effects have lasted well over two years. I now have regular Botox injections to soften my frown, smile lines and lower chin. I also apply prescription retinoids.
