Chemical peels are a versatile treatment used across all three pillars of the Her Skin Seasons® framework, but are particularly valuable in the repair phase. In your 30s, they are highly effective for treating acne, post-acne scarring and pigmentation while also improving overall skin clarity and allowing skincare to penetrate more effectively.
As you move into your 40s and 50s, chemical peels can support both repair and renewal, helping to address sun damage, persistent pigmentation including melasma and dark spots and perimenopausal acne. They can help to smooth the skin and reduce appearance of lines and wrinkles and provide a degree of collagen stimulation.

Obagi Blue Peel Radiance®
Obagi Blue Peel Radiance® is a superficial medical-grade peel that uses a blend of salicylic, glycolic and lactic acids to gently exfoliate the skin, decongest pores and restore radiance with minimal downtime. Results are visible after just one session, making it one of the most effective lunchtime treatments available.
This peel is safe for all skin tones including Fitzpatrick I to VI, and is suitable for patients who are new to chemical peels or looking for a regular maintenance treatment to sustain glow and clarity between deeper treatments.
The Obagi Blue Peel Radiance® is ideal for:

VI Peel Range

VI Peels involve visible peeling over several days as the skin regenerates, with best results developing over four weeks. They can be used on the face and body.

As someone with skin of colour myself, I have been extremely selective about the peels introduced into the clinic. The Obagi Blue Peel Radiance® and VI Peel ranges have been chosen specifically because they are safe for all skin types, including Fitzpatrick IV, V and VI.
Before your peel, your skin may be conditioned using tailored skincare to optimise results and reduce the risk of complications. Some VI Peel treatments also include a comprehensive aftercare pack designed to support healing during the first week post-treatment.
I also take a unique approach to treating acne using both superficial and medium-depth peels. This is particularly effective for stubborn acne that has not responded to medical treatment, allowing me to address active breakouts, post-inflammatory pigmentation and early scarring in the same treatment plan.
